How long before I realise I have been scammed?

I tried to get help from the first week. The Website templates I bought on a monthly fee would not load. When I tried to get help I was told that they had lost the person who was looking after my problem. I then said enough and wanted a refund only to be told I was now 5 days over the 30 day refund policy. Since then I have had over 43 emails both ways to get someone to contact me! Continual promises then last tonight that they would call at 9am GMT. It is now 9.30GMT and again no contact.
What a scam. Over $900 down the drain!
