Traffic Phoenix Scam: Refund Guidelines

Hi There,

Unfortunately, I fell for this too good to be true scam as well, and this software caused numerous errors on my laptop and at one point it blue screened. To add insult to injury their support team followup is terrible to say the least, in some cases taking days for them to respond. But, I think that I am on the road to a refund.

For all of the people that have said that Traffic Phoenix (TP), will not issue them a refund, please go to http://trafficphoenix.com/go and note the refund policy clearly stated at the bottom of the page. Please save this page as a PDF, as Traffic Phoenix will no doubt remove this URL shortly. If you do not have a pdf creator, CutePDF Writer is a FREE PDF creator program, download it as soon as possible.

Also, keep all records of your e-mail correspondences with Traffic Phoenix, they will come in handy later. I saved my e-mail from TP customer rep "Felicity" (no doubt an alias). After I requested a refund, she blatantly states in the e-mail that TP does not offer a refund policy.

If you purchased the software through SWREG, in order to request a refund, e-mail info@swreg.org (include your order number in the subject line of your e-mail). Do Not e-mail support@swreg.org. E-mailing support@swreg.org will only give you an automated e-mail reply.

If you ordered the product through Plimus, from what I understand from reading other threads, is you can call the company directly and request a refund. The phone number of Plimus is 866-312-7733, then press 0.

If you paid through PayPal, file an official claim. If you charged the order to your credit card, just call your credit card company and request a charge back. For a debit card purchase, contact your bank directly.

In addition to requesting a refund, file a complaint with the FTC (http://www.ftc.gov) and Internet Crime Complaint Center (http://www.ic3.gov) as well.

I really hope this helps at least one person. Please fwd and paste this comment to every related forum that you can find.

Good Luck Everyone!

Sincerely,

TB

shoddy software

This product is now being marketed as Azon Conspiracy, you can get an immediate refund by going to the Digital River escalation desk(they deal with Swreg) ph 1-877 229 2938(may need more 1's depending where you are located). They know these products are scams and are now doing immediate refunds.

This is Linda the admin Thank you for that information and yes they do indeed know all of that and are extremely worried now of being shut down as the credit cards also know about them and are threatening that they want SWREG closed down if they do not do immediately refunds when asked to now! Thanks for the Update all this information will help others and maybe just maybe we can once and for all put this scam out of business!

Got part of my money back from my Bank
by: Anonymous

Hi,

I was also scammed by these people.
I bought Traffic Phoenix some time ago with their two payments installment plan, while they still offered a 60 day money back policy. Installed the software, and it failed to work as promised, as for most people here. No emails were ever sent out for my MM project.
I contacted support within the first weeks of purchasing traffic Phoenix (actually within first weeks of making the first payment), and that's where my saga really started.
Working over weeks with Traffic Phoenix support resulted in three reinstall efforts of the software, a change of my Windows 7 security suite (anti-virus software), changed settings in Windows, software updates, and more settings changed, and nothing worked.
Finally, after support offered no solutions that actually worked, and kept me waiting for the Skype call three times, and three weeks passed with emails back and forth complaining about the software, I asked for a refund and a 30 Day money back guarantee was thrown at me.
I contacted my Bank, and they were able to refund the second installment in full.

The Traffic Phoenix software now has a NO REFUND policy. See here, middle of the page:
http://www.trafficphoenix.com/disclaimer.html

This software is being marketed now under a number of names, from Elite Traffic Pro, to a few others.

Word of Advice- Something I learned today the hard way-Go to your bank or Credit Card company with a complaint from the beginning. As soon as you have an issue. I was told by my bank that they couldn't refund my first installment because too much time had passed, and their system wouldn't allow it.

Excellent Scam Traffic Phoenix
by: Kurt Edlund

I wonder how we as a group of Phoenix scammed can act to get our woise heard?1.The September 05 2011 I was on a webinar that some Charlie (perhaps his real name is Chad Michaels or Charlie Price?) held about Traffic Phoenix. I logged in and put my dollars to it!
2.When I noticed that the software did not work as Charlie promised I tried to connect to Traffic Phoenix Skype support. But they said that I cannot access their Skype support first after the 10 of October. Then I had to ask for a refund and that I did the 20 September 2011. I have then asked Phoenix Support, PayPal and SWREG for refund several times. But haven?t had any success with it yet.

I wonder how we as a group can get our needs met, Have our Refund!

Hi this is Linda the Admin contact the FBI and FTC they will help you also send a email to SWREG and tell them the things I tell you here about what the law is and they will send you your refund be sure to tell the FBI and FTC if they do not!
